New Japan Pro Wrestling star Jay White has been rumored as one of the names set to appear in the Royal Rumble, but what is the latest?
According to a new report from Fightful Select, White is still contracted to New Japan, and he is unlikely to appear at the event.
“For those asking about Switchblade Jay White’s status, NJPW sources claim he’s still under contract to them as of the Royal Rumble”, the site confirmed.
As we reported earlier this week, the company has been looking to offer one-time appearance deals to talent to come in, but we have been unable to establish ultimately if White is one of those talents.
