Outspoken pro wrestling commentator Jim Cornette recently discussed Kevin Owens re-signing with WWE for a reportedly massive amount.

Speaking on the Jim Cornette Experience podcast, Cornette stated that the amount Owens was paid proves that there is a promotional war between AEW and WWE.

‘I’m not trying to knock him here, I’ve always said that Kevin Steen [Owens] could work and he could talk, it’s how he has been booked, which is not his fault” Cornette began.

“Kevin Steen is getting $2-3 million a year and that indicates 2 things. 1) There is a shortage of talent to begin with. 2) The WWE is embarrassed by just having difference-makers handed over on a silver platter to the other side. 3) We are back in a promotional war” Cornette added.

RAW is broadcast each and every Monday night, and fans in the United Kingdom can watch the show with a monthly BT Sport subscription.

SmackDown is also available on BT Sport every Friday; again for fans who are subscribed to the monthly service that can sometimes be bundled with BT Broadband.

NXT 2.0 and WWE NXT UK are available to watch on Tuesdays and Thursdays respectively on WWE Network in the United Kingdom. The shows are also available on Peacock in the United States.
