WWE Superstar John Cena has been making waves in Hollywood recently, but according to recent reports, he is “always on call” for the company.
Ringside News has reported that the former WWE Champion is always on call, but he isn’t likely to return anytime soon.
“We were told that ‘Cena is always on call,’ and that prompted an immediate follow-up question for more clarification” the site revealed.
“The current situation is that ‘Cena is available to WWE, under contract to WWE for several more years.’ That means Vince McMahon’s company can book him, but it also means they can call him in a pinch” RSN continued.
John Cena WWE Return
It was also revealed just how last-minute WWE can be with contacting Cena, with WrestleMania 38 brought up as an example.
“If Brock or Roman got hurt or got COVID the week of Mania, they could plug in Cena into the main event on very short notice. Cena is always available in case of emergency to WWE” it was confirmed.
It’s pretty incredible that someone as busy as Cena can be available at the drop of a hat as quickly as WWE needs.
If the company do need him going forward then he will likely be brought in for a major show or two such as SummerSlam 2022.
