WWE Superstar and star of the new Fast 9 film John Cena recently spoke to Chris Van Vliet. The 16-time WWE Champion discussed a number of topics during the interview, including a potential heel turn for him at some point when he returns.
‘I think this is the beginning to showcase the fact that it’s possible,’ Cena began, discussing a potential heel turn. ‘As WWE invests and builds its roster; it has a wealth of talent and truly has many anchors to the ship now.”
“Certainly Roman being a very, very marketable and definitive star’ John Cena added, bringing up the Universal Champion and top attraction on SmackDown.

‘I think the reason for me not to explore that side [heel turn] is because WWE didn’t feel confident they had any alternative,” John Cena added. ‘And I respect that business choice, I really do.”
“But now with them really laying their foundation for the future, setting up life for the next decade or so, maybe’¦ maybe. I don’t know” the former WWE Champion continued.
