John Cena still loves Vince McMahon, despite the sexual misconduct allegations against him.
The WWE Chairman had to retire from his position last year after it was revealed that he paid hush money to multiple women over sexual misconduct allegations. McMahon however, forced his way back into the company earlier this year. He has since been reinstated to his former position in WWE.
The Cenation Leader spoke to AP News to promote the launch of WWE 2K23. In light of the allegations against Vince, John was asked if it’s tough to reconcile his feelings towards the WWE owner. The 16-time world champion responded by explaining that McMahon is ‘imperfectly perfect’:
No. I mean, everyone has the right to have their perspective. I have the right to have mine. When you love somebody, you take them as imperfectly perfect as they are.”

John Cena explained that everyone makes mistakes and poor decisions. Despite this, he cannot go on record saying that he does not love Vince McMahon:
“We all make mistakes, we all have poor decisions. Lord knows I’ve made my collection of poor choices. That doesn’t mean I’m not going to love somebody. There’s no way I can go on record and say I don’t love Vince McMahon.
