WWE NXT Superstar Johnny Gargano is expected to be leaving the company this week, following his team’s loss at the NXT WarGames event this past weekend.

According to a new report from Fightful Select, there are those in WWE that cannot see Gargano or Kyle O’Reilly re-signing, with the former Undisputed Era member also set to run out his contract shortly.

“We’re told that many within the company are operating on the assumption that neither man will be around after this week” the site confirmed.

“Both have been offered multi-year deals and were brought to Smackdown a couple of weeks ago, and it has been communicated to both men that the company wants to retain their services.

“Some talent we spoke to said they personally weren’t giving their farewells to the two just yet because they expect to see both men backstage at Tuesday’s NXT.

“It was not specified if they’re booked for this week’s NXT, but one source high up within WWE indicated to Fightful that their “worst-case scenario” looked like even if they re-signed both, one would take some time off” Fightful concluded.

Will Johnny Gargano leave NXT?

RAW is broadcast each and every Monday night, and fans in the United Kingdom can watch the show with a monthly BT Sport subscription.

SmackDown is also available on BT Sport every Friday; again for fans who are subscribed to the monthly service that can sometimes be bundled with BT Broadband.

NXT 2.0 and WWE NXT UK are available to watch on Tuesdays and Thursdays respectively on WWE Network in the United Kingdom. The shows are also available on Peacock in the United States.
