Huge plans for Kevin Owens scrapped due to WWE injury

Last updated

Some huge plans were scrapped when it comes to Kevin Owens due to his injury ahead of the Survivor Series 2022.

Speaking on Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer revealed that Owens was set to a surprise participant at the Survivor Series event, potentially in the WarGames match.

“I believe he was going to be in the WarGames match. He was supposed to be a surprise, so it adds up he’d be in the WarGames match” Meltzer began.

Kevin Owens Plans Scrapped

“He’d be the last guy against The Bloodline in that match, because of him and Sami Zayn” Meltzer would reveal.

“If that were the case, this could cost him that. I think they may have to reshuffle that one and come up with a new guy on Friday” he concluded.

It is not currently known how long Owens will be out of action, but it is expected to be quite some time and he may not be available for the Royal Rumble 2023.

Hopefully, KO will be able to get back in time for a match at WrestleMania 39, as he had an absolutely huge main event at this year’s show against Stone Cold Steve Austin.
