Kurt Angle: WWE legend reveals he wanted epic matchup with Hall of Famer

Last updated

WWE Hall of Famer Kurt Angle recently revealed that he wanted to have an epic matchup with Bret ‘The Hitman’ Hart, but Hart had unfortunately retired before the match could happen.

Speaking to The Paradox Of Sports, Angle revealed that Bret Hart is the one opponent he wished he could’ve faced in his illustrious career.

‘Bret Hart. That would have been a great match. It would have been an epic matchup,’ Kurt Angle began. ‘Bret and I have talked about it before.

“Unfortunately, Bret got hurt, and we kind of missed each other. He left WWE right before I got there, and then he went to WCW and he got kicked in the face and ended up with a concussion and had to retire from wrestling” Angle added.

“So, it was unfortunate that I never got to wrestle him, but I’ve always wanted to” the Olympic Gold Medallist concluded.
