WWE Superstar LA Knight is set to take on Montez Ford on tonight’s episode of WWE SmackDown, and he is expected to win the match.
According to one of our sources, Knight has been discussed as a potential winner for the Money in the Bank match ‘for months,’ dating as far back as August 2022.
It’s worth noting that plans are subject to change at any time in wrestling, so whilst these are the ‘current’ plans they could change in the weeks leading up to MITB in July.

“Barring any changes, as of right now Knight is still considered #1 choice internally right now. Always heard it will be a cash in on Rollins, whenever it does happen” is what we were told directly.
“So I’d be VERY shocked if Knight loses tonight, I heard in August last year it would be Knight, so we’ll see what happens. Hopefully they don’t decide to go another route, because discussions on having him win it have been going on for months internally” was also relayed to us.
