Lex Luger has been one of the most successful American wrestlers in history, and his career has earned him an impressive net worth in 2023.

Born Lawrence Wendell Pfohl, Luger had an impressive amateur wrestling career before entering professional wrestling in 1985. He made his debut with World Championship Wrestling (WCW) and quickly rose to fame as a major star in the sport.

Luger won several championships throughout his time with WCW, including the United States Heavyweight Championship and World Heavyweight Championship. His rivalry with Ric Flair was legendary and he was part of some of the most memorable matches in WCW’s history.

After parting ways with WCW, Luger joined the World Wrestling Federation (WWF), where he continued to make a name for himself as an established wrestler.

How did Lex Luger become paralyzed?

What many don’t know is that he was left paralyzed after issues to his spine in 2007.

So how did this happen? A nerve impingement in Luger’s neck would result in him being paralysed temporarily due to a pinched nerve. This can often happen when the surrounding tissue is causing too much pressure on the nerve.

Luger would end up being able to walk again in 2008, and as of writing he does not appear to have relapsed into the issues that caused the original illness.

Where is Lex Luger now?

According to Sportskeeda, Luger is apparently living a “simple life in Buffalo, New York.” The site also claims that the pro wrestling legend also £spends most of his free time doing what he can to help out at the local schools and churches in the area.”

Was Lex Luger married to Elizabeth?

Despite Luger and the former Miss Elizabeth being a couple in the latter days of WCW, they were never actually married.

Lex Luger net worth

According to Celebrity Net Worth, the former WCW and WWF performer has a net worth in 2023 of around $400,000.
