A major WWE Superstar appeared to be written off of television during this week’s episode of WWE RAW in the main event.
Edge appeared to be written off of TV by The Judgment Day group of Rhea Ripley, Finn Balor, Damian Priest and Dominick Mysterio.
Balor hit a Coup de Grace from the top rope onto Edge’s knee, seemingly taking him out of action for quite some time.
Edge injured on WWE RAW?
Speaking on Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer elaborated on the situation, saying that Edge is on a limited contract.
“The thing with Edge though is, because he’s got a limited contract so he’s not around weekly, it felt like this was another injury angle” Meltzer revealed.
It remains to be seen whether Edge is actually going to stay off of television for the time being, but it could make sense for a potential return at Survivor Series in November.
