Former WWE Superstar and All Elite Wrestling roster member Matt Hardy recently revealed who was being considered for Team Xtreme back in the day.
Of course, Team Xtreme was a massive part of the later Attitude Era of WWF, with Matt, Jeff and Lita being massively over.
The idea of more members being added to the group nearly 20 years ago seems odd, but apparently, it almost happened.

Speaking on his The Extreme Life of Matt Hardy podcast, the AEW star revealed who was being considered for the group years ago.
‘We did talk about doing stuff with Shane [Helms] and Shannon [Moore]” Matt revealed. “They had found something that they wanted to do with Shane and he ended up kind of doing his own thing.”
This was around the time that WWF purchased WCW in 2001. It’s probably for the best that Helms and Moore didn’t end up joining.
