The Truth Behind Matt Riddle and His Absence
To set the record straight, Riddle’s absence wasn’t a last-minute decision or a storyline development. According to a report from PWInsider, Matt Riddle was granted time off from the WWE due to illness:
“The word making the rounds backstage at Monday Night Raw tonight among talents was that Matt Riddle was pulled due to a ‘medical illness.'”
Riddle has also been in the news for a recent incident at JFK airport, in which he claims that he was “sexually assaulted” by staff members.
The company is currently investigating the situation, and whilst it is not confirmed, this could be a cover for WWE as they await the resolution of their investigation.
