Mickie James on WWE: “I was told I had five to seven years on TV”

Last updated

Former WWE Superstar and IMPACT Knockouts Champion Mickie James recently discussed her run in WWE and the recent spate of cuts from the company.

‘I remember being told in WWE that I had five-to-seven years on TV,’ Mickie James revealed. ‘That’s how long most women are there, but I wanted to build a long career. It’s been so special to have this run doing what I love.’

Mickie James herself was released as part of the ‘budget cuts’ that have been taking place over the past year, and she was famously sent her gear back in a bin bag.
