Former Raw Women’s Champion Nia Jax could be returning to WWE.
The cousin of Dwyane ‘The Rock’ Johnson was part of the WWE roster from 2014 to 2021. A polarizing figure among the WWE Universe, Jax usually got a lot of heat from fans due to her reputation of being an unsafe worker.
Though despite the claims, the female star was featured prominently on WWE TV up until her departure in November, 2021. Nia returned to WWE for a one-off appearance earlier this year when she entered the Women’s Royal Rumble at #30.

Nia Jax could return to WWE
While WWE has not made anything official, PWInsider is reporting that Nia Jax’s name has been mentioned for a potential return recently:
“There were some rumblings over the last few days of a potential Nia Jax return within the company. We have not heard she is at Raw but at least a few different sources noted they had heard her name being mentioned of late. Jax made a one-night return at the 2023 Royal Rumble. We’ll update if we hear anything additional.”
There has been an unofficial freeze on main roster hirings since the start of this year. The company has passed on signing stars like Jay White and Mercedes Mone. If Nia is indeed signed by the promotion, it’ll be the company’s first main roster hiring in 2023.
