A top NXT 2.0 Superstar is already considered internally by WWE as having been moved to the main roster, despite it being confirmed publicly.
LA Knight has been appearing in dark segments ahead of SmackDown recently, forming his new stable as a manager.
According to a recent report from Fightful Select, WWE is already looking at him as having moved up to the main roster.
“There are no plans moving forward for LA Knight in NXT and he’s already considered main roster after his Smackdown dark match appearances” Fightful revealed.
LA Knight leaving NXT 2.0
It’s interesting that WWE has not made the move public just yet, but it has been some time coming for the former Eli Drake.
LA Knight could be a major star on the WWE main roster, so this move could be beneficial for all parties involved going forward; even if he is being used as a manager for the time being.
With WWE not having confirmed that Knight has moved, we don’t really know when they plan on having him actually debut on television.
It’s likely that we will see him on WWE programming again sooner rather than later, but he won’t be back on NXT 2.0 it seems.
