Former WWE Superstar Paige has reportedly been working on a comeback over the past year. The British Superstar had to retire a few years ago due to an injury sustained against Sasha Banks at a WWE House Show.
Speaking on her Twitch stream, the former WWE Divas Champion would reveal that she really wants to work a match with Sasha Banks when and if she can return to the squared circle for WWE.
“I would love to face Sasha [Banks]”, Paige revealed during the broadcast. “I feel like it’s a built-in storyline, and she’s one of the best.
“She’s one of the best out there, men or women. She’s one of the best. Ain’t no one putting on friggin’ matches like her,” Paige added.

“Charlotte is great, everyone is great, but Sasha is one of those wrestlers that can literally fight a ladder and it be a five-star match. She’ll carry me too [laughs]. Help me out, sis?” the former WWE Superstar concluded.
After retiring in April 2018, Paige has taken on several on-screen roles with WWE, including as an analyst on WWE Backstage and the manager of Asuka and Kairi Sane.
Paige has not been on WWE programming in quite some time, however with the return of Edge in 2020; she is hoping to make her own return from a career-ending neck injury.
Hopefully, the former WWE Divas titleholder can make her return to the company and get the match with Sasha Banks that she clearly wants.
