Paul Heyman has made a bold claim about The Bloodline story after SummerSlam 2023.

The latest WWE PLE saw the conclusion of another chapter in the layered story that has kept the audiences captivated for over 3 years. Roman Reigns was once again in the main event, defending his title against his own family in Jey Uso.

Jey did everything in his power to end Roman’s historic reign, but he came up short after being betrayed by his own family. Jimmy Uso who had left the Bloodline earlier returned to help The Tribal Chief secure another win, turning on his twin brother in the process.

Paul Heyman says its far from over

With The Bloodline members now fighting among themselves, it seems only a matter of time before the empire Roman Reigns has built comes crashing down. People believe that we are closure to the ending of this story that has redefined the meaning of sports entertainment but Paul Heyman suggests otherwise.

The special counsel took part in the post-show press conference and talked up about The Bloodline. Speaking about how far we have come with the story, Heyman claimed that they haven’t even hit their stride yet:

“Bottom of the third. We’re just figuring this stuff out. We haven’t even hit our stride yet. If you want to take the arrogant approach, I’m sure Paul Levesque will tell you all the box office records that have been smashed. We’re just figuring this out. There is so much more to learn. There is so much more for us to grasp. There is so much more for us to master.”

Paul Heyman explained that wrestling is an ever-evolving craft and each day you have to strive to be better than the last. The former ECW owner mentioned how they continue to peel back layer after layer and joked that it will continue till his 120th birthday:

“We’ve been doing this for three years and not once have I heard a credible person say, it’s dragging on. It doesn’t drag on. We continue to layer and peel back layers and reveal more about each persona, and just when you think you have the persona figured out, there is something new to learn about that person and their dynamic within the other people in the group and sometimes it involves people outside the group, like Sami Zayn. What will I do when the Bloodline disbands? I don’t know, I’ll probably be celebrating my 120th birthday by then.”
