WWE are reportedly ‘very worried’ about the status of Superstar Randy Orton, as he attempts to make his way back from injury.
According to a report from Dave Meltzer in the latest issue of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, the company don’t believe he will be back for some time.
“There is a lot of concern regarding Orton’s back injury and its severity” Meltzer claimed in this week’s issue of the newsletter.

Interestingly, this goes against a recent report from Xero News, which claimed that Orton isn’t that far off from returning to television for the company.
When asked about the potential returns of Orton, Becky Lynch and the former Emma to WWE programming, Xero News noted on social media: ‘Becky soon, no date. Same with Orton. Heard nothing on Emma.’
We’ll have to wait and see what the situation is regarding Orton, but a return as soon as possible for the former WWE Champion would absolutely benefit WWE if they and he can pull it off.
Orton has been out of action since May, and it was a big loss for the RAW brand as he is presented as one of the bigger names on the television show.
