WWE is targeting a big return for Survivor Series in the form of Randy Orton.
The Legend Killer has been away from the ring due to back issues for over a year. Orton last wrestled in a match during the May 20, 2022 episode of SmackDown. The team of Randy Orton and Riddle had faced The Usos in a title unification match.
The team known as RK-Bro were the Raw Tag Team Champions while the Usos held the SmackDown titles at the time. The team of Jimmy and Jey Uso won this bout, leading to the unification of the tag titles.

Randy Orton at Survivor Series?
At one point there were even rumors that Randy Orton may have to retire from active competition due to his injury. Fightful Select, however, is now reporting that the former world champion is closing in on a return with the upcoming PPV being the target date:
“Regarding Randy Orton, Fightful Select reported he was at the WWE Performance Center recently. He and WWE were targeting by Survivor Series for a return.”
Orton’s partner Riddle was recently released from the company after a controversy. So the Viper will have to find a new path when he does finally return to the promotion.
