WWE Superstar Randy Orton has been out of action for almost a month. The ‘Apex Predator’ has not been seen on screen for some time, with his RKBro tag team partner Matt Riddle mentioning this on television as part of their ongoing storyline.

According to a new report from Fightful Select, Randy Orton has been put on the sidelined list for the entirety of his time away from WWE programming.

“We asked about why Orton was sidelined, and we were told that he’s been on the disabled/inactive list during that period.”

Where is Randy Orton?

Fightful also confirmed that there are no problems between Orton and the company, and that “the hope is from all sides that he’ll be back in time for the August 2 episode of WWE Raw.”

It was also noted that there were creative plans in place for Randy Orton and Matt Riddle through SummerSlam, but due to the unforeseen circumstances of Orton being out of action, an audible had to be called to keep the storyline going without him appearing on screen.

It was not confirmed why Orton has been out of action, whether it was for personal reasons or because of an injury. With WWE now back in front of live crowds, they will be wanting to get the former WWE Champion back on programming as soon as possible to build to a match featuring him and Riddle for the SummerSlam PPV event.

We will update on this story as it develops, hopefully Orton will be back on-screen in just over a week for WWE RAW.
