Reason Mick Foley missed Raw 30th Anniversary show

Last updated

The Raw 30th Anniversary special featured many big names. The show had announced stars such as The Undertaker, Shawn Michaels, Triple H and Hulk Hogan for an appearance in advance. If this wasn’t enough, The Beast Incarnate Brock Lesnar also ended up making a surprise return. One big name that was missing from this line up however, was none other than Mick Foley.

The WWE Hall of Famer recently made a post on FB. He congratulated everyone on the celebration and reflected on the time he won the WWE championship on Raw:

“Sending out happy 30th anniversary wishes to everyone involved with Monday Night Raw. It is no exaggeration to say that some of the very finest moments of my life took place on this program ’“ and I’m hoping for another 20 years. Thanks to all of you who watched for so many years, and have a nice day!’

A fan asked Mick Foley why he wasn’t at the show. The wrestling veteran revealed that his hectic schedule led to him declining the appearance:

‘I was definitely asked by WWE, and politely declined due to the hectic nature of my schedule. If I had not taken the past couple days off ’“ and instead traveled to Philadelphia for the show ’“ I would be on the road for 32 consecutive days.”
