Roman Reigns becomes Unified WWE Champion at WrestleMania 38

WWE SmackDown Superstar Roman Reigns defeated Brock Lesnar in the main event of WrestleMania 38, making him the Unified World Champion.

The company had been touting the match as the “Biggest in WrestleMania History,” with both the WWE and Universal Championships on the line.

This was the third WrestleMania main event encounter between the two, following WrestleMania 31 and WrestleMania 34.

‘Mania 31 would see Seth Rollins cash in his Money In The Bank briefcase and pin Reigns to be come Champion, whereas Lesnar took the win at ‘Mania 34 outright.

Lesnar had a Kimura locked on Reigns which the Tribal Chief managed to get out of. Reigns would then fire off one final Spear to the Beast Incarnate to become the Unified World Champion.
