WWE SmackDown Superstar Ronda Rousey is reportedly set to tag with a member of the WWE RAW roster at some point in the near future.
According to a recent report from Mat Men’s Andrew Zarian, Rousey is set to be “possibly tagging with Shayna Baszler.”
Of course, there is a ton of history with the two women, stemming from their time in Mixed Martial Arts and the UFC, together.
Baszler was part of The Ultimate Fighter series when Rousey was a coach opposite Miesha Tate. Shayna actually got eliminated in her first fight in the house, losing to current UFC Champion Julianna Pena.
Ronda Rousey and Shayna Baszler
It’s not currently known when Rousey and Baszler will be teaming up, but it would certainly make sense for both going forward.
Shayna has not been used in a prominent role for some time, and Ronda really needs to take a different direction with her character.
Could they be a solid heel team on the WWE roster? Absolutely, and I can even see them as Two Man Power Trip type of duo.
