Raquel Rodriguez’s Experience with Ronda Rousey

Rodriguez, who has shared the ring with Rousey on several occasions, recently opened up about her experiences with the former UFC champion during an interview with Eat, Sleep, Podcast, Repeat. Contrary to some of the rumours and stories that have circulated in the past, Rodriguez had nothing but praise for Rousey.

“Ronda carries herself like a superstar. Ronda is great. I’ve had no bad experiences with Ronda,” Rodriguez stated.

She went on to commend Rousey for her willingness to immerse herself in a business she wasn’t initially familiar with. Not only did Rousey take the time to learn and adapt, but she also played a pivotal role in elevating many of the women in the division.

Facing Rousey in the Ring

On a more personal note, Rodriguez reflected on her matches with Rousey, particularly their two bouts for the WWE SmackDown Women’s Title.

“I was very proud of the two matches we had for the women’s titles,” Rodriguez shared. She described the experience of facing Rousey as both intimidating and exhilarating. “Stepping in the ring with her is very intimidating in itself, but having someone who moves differently and has a different mentality almost makes you want to step up your game and be creative,” Rodriguez added.
