WWE Superstar Ronda Rousey is set to compete at WrestleMania 39 in a tag match, but a segment has been ‘discussed’ for later that night.
It has apparently been put forward that Ronda and Shayna Baszler could challenge for the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championships after winning the Women’s Showcase match on Night 2, according to one of our sources.
Liv Morgan & Raquel Rodriguez, Natalya & Shotzi and Chelsea Green & Sonya Deville are also being featured in the match, with the winners getting a tag title shot at some point.
As we’ve only been able to get this information from one source, we’re reporting this as rumor at this point, so please take this with a grain of salt.

Before Rousey injured her arm, it was believed that Becky Lynch and Lita would be defending their titles at the show, so having the former MMA fighters challenge them in an impromptu match does seem feasible.
Something else we have heard is that Trish Stratus may well be turning heel on the show, so this would be a great opportunity for her to do so on Becky and set up a match between those two down the line as well.
We will update you on this story as and when we’re able to get information on it, but there is a very good chance that we could see this occur tonight.
