WWE Superstar Ronda Rousey appeared to turn heel at the WWE SummerSlam event this past weekend, but what is her backstage status?
Rousey attempted to attack Liv Morgan following their match at the event after the referee missed Morgan tapping out.
According to a recent report from PWInsider, we now know what the backstage situation is with regards to the former UFC Champion.
“The WWE internal roster still lists Ronda Rousey as the top babyface for the Smackdown roster, so as of today she is still considered a babyface internally. We will see if that changes in the days ahead” the site revealed.

It is likely that the company will be changing tact when it comes to Rousey, as she clearly appeared to turn heel at the show.
What we do not know is if she will be ‘suspended’ in storyline, as she attacked the referee for the match after he ‘screwed up.
