A major backstage name in WWE is rumored to have been released from the company in the last day or so.
According to a new report/rumor from WrestleCult, Kevin Dunn has been released from the company and his Executive Producer & Chief for Global Television Distribution role.
“The Dunn Era in WWE is apparently DONE. We just got word from sources that Kevin Dunn has been released from his contract with WWE” the site claimed.
“There have been rumblings about Dunn’s future since Vince McMahon announced his impromptu retirement.
“Now with Stephanie McMahon, Nick Khan, and Paul Levesque at the helm, the continued shakeup of the corporate and creative branches of the company has continued” WrestleCult concluded.

It’s worth noting that this rumour from WrestleCult is just that, a rumour, as we are unable to verify whether or not the report is legitimate at this time.
If Dunn has been relieved of his duties, then this is a major shakeup backstage and could herald some huge changes to the production of WWE programming.
It remains to be seen whether these rumors can be seen as legitimate, but it would be another big move from Triple H and co.
