The Royal Rumble is one of the most exciting nights of the year for pro wrestling fans, and a major megastar has been rumored to appear.
According to a new report/rumor from Xero News, it looks as though The Rock may well be appearing on the card.
Speaking on the Xero Uncut podcast, Xero claimed that Roman Reigns and Paul Heyman are pushing for ‘The Great One’ to be a shock appearance in the 30-man Rumble match.
“WWE wants the element of surprise and it’s been said backstage at Paul Heyman and Roman Reigns are heavily involved in the main event match for WrestleMania” Xero began.
“They are heavily pushing for Dwayne Johnson to show up in the rumble as a surprise entry in number 30 and have him potentially win it” Xero concluded.

It’s worth noting that this rumor from Xero News is just that, a rumor, as we are unable to verify whether or not the report is legitimate at this time.
If this does happen, then it would easily be one of the biggest moments of 2023 just under a month into the year.
Whether it could genuinely be an option remains to be seen, as it’s probably more likely that the company would want to promote an appearance from the biggest moviestar on the planet.
