NJPW stars potentially in Royal Rumble match

The Royal Rumble is set to take place in just a couple of weeks, and it appears as though there may well be some NJPW stars in the match.

According to a new report/rumor from Xero News, it appears as though Tama Tonga and Tanga Loa are being considered for the Men’s 30-man match.

“We have heard from multiple sources the following names for the Rumble,” the site claimed on its Patreon subscription service.

“I’ll add that the NJPW guys are on appearance deals, [they’re] not signed to WWE due to still being under contract”, the site claimed.

As well as the Guerillas of Destiny, Xero also claimed that Hikuleo would also be taking part in the 30-man match on the night itself.

NJPW stars in the Royal Rumble

It’s worth noting that this rumor from Xero News is just that, a rumor, as we are unable to verify whether or not the report is legitimate at this time.

We aren’t going to know if this is actually the case until nearer the time, but considering that the company is looking to make this a stacked Rumble, then it wouldn’t be out of the question for the New Japan stars to actually show up.
