A major Japanese star is rumored to be making their return to WWE programming very soon for the first time in 2023.

According to a new report/rumor from The Wrestling Blog, Shinsuke Nakamura is set to make his return very shortly.

“Shinsuke Nakamura is set to return very soon to normal Schedule, his been part of Live events for the past couple days, but he will return to normal schedule the upcoming weeks leading to Wrestlemania. Nakamura Last match was 01/01/2023 at Noah The New Year against Great Muta” the account claimed on Twitter.

Shinsuke Nakamura WWE Return

It’s worth noting that this rumor from The Wrestling Blog is just that, a rumor, as we are unable to verify whether or not the report is legitimate at this time.

We haven’t seen Nakamura for quite some time on WWE programming, in fact he has not wrestled on TV since November 2022 on SmackDown.

It seems a bit odd to bring him back just before ‘Mania, but a talent of his level is probably going to be used very differently under Triple H, so hopefully he’ll be brought back all guns blazing.
