WWE legend Stone Cold Steve Austin will not be wrestling at WrestleMania 39, but could he still compete at some point in 2023?
Speaking to one of our sources, they indicated that there is a chance that Austin could actually wrestle with Saudi Arabia being the most likely destination.
“Steve Austin will not wrestle at WrestleMania, but WWE are under the impression that Austin is open to working a PPV match this year”, we were told.
“It wouldn’t be a shock to see Austin work at a Saudi event” was also relayed to us, but as of writing, we have been unable to verify this elsewhere.

As we’ve only been able to get this report verified from a separate source, so for now, we’re going to be reporting this on our end as a rumor.
Seeing Austin return for a match in Saudi would probably end up being a bit of a damp squib, and whilst he had a fantastic sendoff against Kevin Owens, so if this does take place, then hopefully, it’s not some legends match that doesn’t do anything for Austin’s legacy.
