WWE WrestleMania 39: Major update on megastar appearing

Last updated

WWE’s WrestleMania 39 is set to be the biggest event of 2023, and a megastar looks extremely likely for the card in April.

Speaking on Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer claimed that Stone Cold Steve Austin is essentially a lock for the show.

“[John] Cena is a ’˜probable’ and Dwayne [Johnson] is a ’˜possible’ while [Steve] Austin is the surest of the three. It’s just a question of how he feels, and he’s going to do what he feels like doing” Meltzer claimed.

Will Stone Cold Steve Austin be at WrestleMania 39?

It’s worth noting that this rumor from Dave Meltzer is just that, a rumor, as we are unable to verify whether or not the report is legitimate at this time.

There has been a lot of back and forth between different outlets regarding The Rock, Austin and John Cena at the event.

It was believed that Rock vs Roman was previously a ‘lock’ for the event, but that appears to not be the case according to Meltzer.

The question now simply remains who will Austin even be facing on the card? His match against Kevin Owens at WrestleMania 38 seemed like a great send off, but clearly there’s still a want from the Rattlesnake to get back into the ring one more time.
