WWE Chief Content Officer Triple H may be planning a massive moment for Austin Theory in the coming months, according to rumors.
Speaking to GiveMeSport, WrestleVotes claimed that creative is considering having the Money in the Bank briefcase holder for a whole year.
“There is an idea that he is the first guy to wait a full year, like the day of or let’s say night of Money in the Bank next year” WrestleVotes claimed.
“That’s the storyline, like ‘you have to cash this in two and a half hours. You have to cash this in 90 minutes.’ That type of thing. I know that idea is on the table” Wrestlevotes added.

With Roman Reigns being the top dog on WWE programming, it certainly makes sense to change how the MITB works this year.
There is no way that Theory would beat Roman anytime soon, so keeping him holding the briefcase till the time limit is certainly a unique way of doing the MITB gimmick into 2023.
