Fans have been wondering who Uncle Howdy is for quite some time, and a new rumor seems to indicate when we might find out.
According to a new report/rumor from The Wrestling Blog, the company are reportedly considering revealing who is behind the mask before July 2023.
“There were talks back in December about revealing the identity of Uncle Howdy. The talks were about revealing the Identity before Money In The Bank, but this was rejected by a lot of people in the creative team, because they feel there is no reason to do that any time soon” the site claimed on Twitter.

It’s worth noting that this rumor from The Wrestling Blog is just that, a rumor, as we are unable to verify whether or not the report is legitimate at this time.
We aren’t going to know whether or not this rumor is true pretty much until the actual character behind the mask itself is revealed.
Hopefully, the storyline will start to progress a little quicker, as it has been languishing somewhat over the past few months and needs to get some juice if it’s going to continue later into 2023.
