WrestleMania 39 is set to be the biggest event of the year for WWE, and now a big Intercontinental Championship match has been rumored.
According to a new report/rumor from Xero News, Drew McIntyre is set to be the Superstar who faces GUNTHER at the event.
“Drew Mcintyre vs Gunther for the Intercontinental Championship was said to be the plan for WrestleMania as of Friday, but I’m told there is still a possibility Sheamus gets added to the match,” the site claimed on its Patreon site.

A 5-way #1 contenders match is set to take place this week on SmackDown, with the winner going on to face GUNTHER at ‘Mania.
