Rhea Ripley may be facing a top opponent for the WWE SummerSlam 2023 event which takes place in August in Detroit, Michigan.
According to a new report/rumour from Xero News, Ripley is currently scheduled to be facing Raquel Rodriguez at the event.
“Update on an earlier Tweet. Current plans have Raquel vs Rhea at Summerslam. Bianca vs Rhea is the current plan for Mania 40” the account claimed on Twitter.

It’s worth noting that these rumours from Xero News are just that, rumours, as we are unable to verify whether or not the report is legitimate at this time.
Raquel vs Rhea could be a great match for the fans if it does end up taking place at SummerSlam, and Rodriguez losing wouldn’t hurt her at all in the long term.
Plans can of course change between now and then, but hopefully this is the way that the company decides to go at Ford Field in August 2023.
