Roman Reigns is expected to be heading to WrestleMania 40 in 2024 as the reigning WWE Universal Champion, according to a new rumour.

According to a new report/rumour from The Wrestling Blog, Reigns is expected to be facing the winner of the Elimination Chamber match at the show.

“Roman is expected to walk into WrestleMania 40 as champion, go against the winner of the Elimination Chamber match and be the main event of night 2. The Royal Rumble winner will go for the World Heavyweight Championship and be the main event of night 1” the account claimed on Twitter.

Roman Reigns WrestleMania 40

It’s worth noting that these rumours from The Wrestling Blog are just that, rumours, as we are unable to verify whether or not the report is legitimate at this time.

We’ve been expecting Roman to keep his belt for a little while longer at least, but could he really keep his reign going until 2024?

Even then, who could he face in the main event of WrestleMania 40? Solo Sikoa and Cody Rhodes appear to be the two most likely names right now, but that could change in the coming months.
