A ‘major’ swerve is reportedly being planned for WWE Money in the Bank when the event takes place on Saturday, July 1st 2023.
According to a new report/rumour from The Wrestling Blog, the company is discussing the potential of having a screwjob in one of the MITB matches on the night itself.
“Some Money In the Bank news: A segment was discussed to take place the night before MITB with all the participants in the ring to hype the matches. There’s an idea being discussed for someone getting screwed during the MITB match and cost them the win for the briefcase” the account claimed on Twitter.

We’re unable to confirm right now whether it is the Men’s or Women’s match that will potentially see a screwjob, but there are a couple of potential outcomes.

With Logan Paul now in the Men’s MITB match, there is a chance that KSI appears to help him win the belt, or Trish Stratus and Zoey Stark could cost someone the briefcase during the women’s match.
