WWE SummerSlam 2023 was expected to see the return of a major tag team to the company, but those plans appear to have been nixed.

According to a new report/rumour from Boozer Wrestling, it appears as though the company are deciding to hold off on a return for the team of Johnny Gargano and Tommaso Ciampa.

WWE SummerSlam 2023 Rumours

It’s worth noting that these rumours from Boozer Wrestling are just that, rumours, as we are unable to verify whether or not the report is legitimate at this time.

Hopefully, we’ll see the group make a return further down the line, but it is a shame that we won’t be seeing the anticipated Sami Zayn and Kevin Owens vs DIY match at SummerSlam.

We’ll try and get more information on this in the coming weeks as we head towards the ‘biggest party of the Summer.’
