WWE: Massive rumour on fan favourite match being scrapped

WWE are apparently considering dropping a fan-favourite match that was expected to be taking place later this year on a Premium Live Event.

According to a new report/rumour from The Wrestling Blog, WWE are not looking to have a War Games match at the Survivor Series this year.

“Survivor Series may likely not feature War Games this year, it was discussed at some point, but is most likely brand vs brand action again this year, But nothing is locked yet things could change” the account claimed on Twitter this week.

It’s worth noting that these rumours from The Wrestling Blog are just that, rumours, as we are unable to verify whether or not the report is legitimate at this time.

If the company does decide to not have War Games as part of the November event, then that would be a massive missed opportunity.

War Games was the drawing card for Survivor Series last year, and to just drop it the very next year doesn’t make a ton of sense.
