Much like his colleague Kevin Owens, Sami Zayn has reportedly re-signed with WWE amid rumours that he would be leaving the company to sign with AEW.

There has apparently been locker room talk of Zayn having re-signed with the company, although this week’s issue of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter indicates that their sources have been fully confirmed.

“There has also been locker room talk that Sami Zayn (Rami Sebei, 37) did as well” Dave Meltzer wrote in the Observer, also referring to Kevin Owens. “But, WWE sources have not confirmed Zayn having signed to us yet.”

There’s still no official word on what Sami’s status is, but right now it is looking like the former NXT Champion has re-signed with WWE and will be staying.
