Sasha Banks expected to be heading to major PPV event this weekend

Last updated

Former WWE Superstar Sasha Banks is reportedly set to be making her way to the IMPACT Slammiversary PPV event this weekend.

According to a new report from PWInsider, Banks/Mercedes Mone will at the event to support her former WWE tag team partner Trinity.

“Mercedes Mone aka the former Sasha Banks is expected to be in attendance at tomorrow’s Slammiversary PPV in Windsor, Ontario, has confirmed” the site revealed.

“The belief among those we’ve spoken with is that Mone is coming to the event in support of Trinity and would not likely be appearing on camera. Mone and WWE’s Tamina were in attendance when Trinity debuted for the promotion, while Trinity and Bayley travelled to New Japan Pro Wrestling’s Wrestle Kingdom in Tokyo to be there for Mone when she made her first appearance for the company” PWInsider added.

Whether the former WWE SmackDown Women’s Champion actually appears on camera remains to be seen, but it is likely that she will not.

Unlike when she was at WWE, IMPACT and New Japan have a working relationship, so it wouldn’t be an issue for her to be shown on-screen during the event.
