Seth Rollins found working with Bray Wyatt ‘difficult’

Last updated

The ‘Fiend’ character of Bray Wyatt created a problem for WWE. On one hand, it was one of the most unique gimmicks ever seen in pro wrestling, though on the other it was also one of the hardest characters to book into feuds. This is why Seth Rollins says that working with Wyatt over the Universal title in 2019 was ‘difficult.’

Rollins talked candidly about many topics while speaking to Ariel Helwani (H/t Fightful). Reflecting on his feud with Wyatt and the highly criticized Hell in a Cell match, the Visionary said this:

“Yeah, I mean, another crack at that one might be nice. I mean, look, the Bray Wyatt character is just difficult”.

Seth Rollins explained that telling a compelling story with the character was very difficult. Per the former world champion, anyone who worked with Wyatt for an extended period didn’t come out any better:

“If you look at anybody that worked the Bray Wyatt character for an extended period of time They didn’t, they didn’t come out of it better than they went in. It was very difficult to have a story with him where ’” aside from Randy [Orton], who obviously killed him, it was difficult for anyone.”
