Seth Rollins has been the talk of the town recently, but there’s a rumour killer going around regarding his Captain America film appearance.
According to a new report/rumour from WRKD Wrestling, the claims that WWE are wary of putting the World Heavyweight Championship because of potential film roles in the near future isn’t true.
“Clarifying a prior report: we’d said that there was ‘hesitancy’ to put the new title on Seth Rollins, due to his role in the new Captain America film. However, it’s been made clear this isn’t an immediate fear, but for the future, should he & Becky Lynch further pursue Hollywood” the account claimed.

It’s worth noting that this rumor from WRKD Wrestling is just that, a rumor, as we are unable to verify whether or not the report is legitimate at this time.
Rollins is set to face AJ Styles at the Night of Champions Premium Live Event on Saturday, May 27th 2023 and he is heavily favoured to win the match.
We’ll have to see how the potential movie roles for Rollins play out in the future, but for now it appears as though WWE are confident in him remaining a long-term option for title reigns.
