Shotzi turning heel on WWE SmackDown was a bad idea

Last updated

WWE SmackDown Superstar Shotzi, formerly Shotzi Blackheart, turned heel on this week’s episode of the blue brand show on FOX.

Shotzi was one of the most over babyface Superstars on the NXT Women’s roster, and her tenure thus far on the main roster hasn’t been stellar.

To be fair, that isn’t exactly Shotzi’s fault. WWE has opted to keep Shotzi in a strange tag team with Tegan Nox up until the WWE Draft, so at least now they’re doing SOMETHING with her on main roster programming.

However, making the former NXT Superstar a heel is a bad move; the green-haired Superstar got a decent reception from the fans in attendance and the FOX brand badly need a top babyface beyond Bianca Belair.

RAW is broadcast each and every Monday night, and fans in the United Kingdom can watch the show with a monthly BT Sport subscription.

SmackDown is also available on BT Sport every Friday, again for fans who are subscribed to the monthly service that can sometimes be bundled with BT Broadband.

NXT 2.0 and WWE NXT UK are available to watch on Tuesdays and Thursdays respectively on WWE Network in the United Kingdom and Peacock in the United States.
