A WWE SmackDown Superstar is now out of action ‘indefinitely’ due to a recent injury, as confirmed by the company themselves.

Commentator Michael Cole revealed on this week’s episode of the show that the Viking Raiders were not included in the main event tag match due to injury.

Erik of the Viking Raiders recently suffered an injury to his foot and would now be out of action for “an indefinite period of time” as confirmed by Cole.

The Viking Raiders had been in a feud with The New Day over the past few weeks, but as noted we do not know what will happen going forward with the former NXT team.

Brawling Brutes would win the aforementioned main event tag match, defeating The New Day, IMPERIUM and Hit Row.

Butch and Ridge Holland will now get the opportunity to face The Usos for the Unified WWE Tag Team Championships on the September 23rd episode of the show.
