Stone Cold Steve Austin has said “never say never” to the prospect of at least one more match in a WWE ring featuring the Rattlesnake.

Speaking on the Rich Eisen Show, he revealed that you can “never say never” when it comes to another match.

“In this business, never say never. I said I would never get in, but prompted by the right person at the right time, hell, I wish he (Kevin Owens) would have pissed me off a little sooner than he did to give me more time to prep” Steve Austin noted.

Austin’s last official ‘proper’ match came against The Rock back in 2003 as part of WrestleMania 19, and the Hall of Famer will be joining Kevin Owens for a segment at WrestleMania 38.

Even though it is not an official match, Austin has also revealed that he is prepping to be in ring shape before he confronts Owens at the event.

“When I left, I didn’t want to leave. WrestleMania 19, my neck had presented some problems” Stone Cold began.

“After I got spiked and dropped on my head back in 99, I had three, four fused up, and it was time for me to ride off into the sunset and do something else” the former WWE Champion continued.

“This comeback means a lot to me as I’ve been getting back into in-ring shape. I’m gonna go out there and do the absolute best I can” the Rattlesnake concluded.
