Stone Cold Steve Austin may wrestle beyond WrestleMania 38

There have been some absolutely huge rumours over the past 48 hours regarding Stone Cold Steve Austin and his status with WWE.

According to the likes of Andrew Zarian and Dave Meltzer, Austin is already “locked-in” for a match against Kevin Owens at WrestleMania 38.

It has however been muted that the former WWE Champion and Hall of Famer will be wrestling beyond the WrestleMania 38 show itself.

It is not confirmed if Austin will be signing a longer-term deal with WWE, but Meltzer did note on Wrestling Observer Radio that Austin may opt to take a deal along the lines of what Edge is currently wrestling to.

Whatever happens, it will be wild to see the Rattlesnake make his return to the squared circle, however long for.

RAW is broadcast each and every Monday night, and fans in the United Kingdom can watch the show with a monthly BT Sport subscription.

SmackDown is also available on BT Sport every Friday; again for fans who are subscribed to the monthly service that can sometimes be bundled with BT Broadband.

NXT 2.0 and WWE NXT UK are available to watch on Tuesdays and Thursdays respectively on WWE Network in the United Kingdom. The shows are also available on Peacock in the United States.
