Stone Cold Steve Austin will officially be at WrestleMania 38

Last updated

WWE Hall of Famer Stone Cold Steve Austin has confirmed that he will be appearing at WrestleMania 38 for the KO Show segment.

Austin specifically said in a video released by WWE that it doesn’t matter what it is called, if it’s the “KO Show, a match, a fight or a brawl,” he’s coming to whoop Kevin Owens’ ass.

The video starts with Austin referring to his loss to The Rock back at WrestleMania 19, saying how he took three Rock Bottoms and the pinfall loss.

Whilst it’s not quite the announcement of a full-blown match that fans have been waiting for, we do now know that Stone Cold Steve Austin will be rocking up to Dallas, Texas for WrestleMania in just over 2 weeks’ time.

It’s clear that WWE is being as coy as possible in terms of what Austin will actually do at the event itself. Not promising a match is smart, especially if they/he aren’t comfortable with having a full contest at the show.

What is for sure, is that we’re going to see a Stunner at some point.

Check out the video below that WWE released today with Austin’s official response to the challenge laid out by Kevin Owens:
